Group Policy Object Search Tool

The Group Policy Object Search Tool, JiJi GPO Search, is an advanced management tool that makes it easy to search for individual group policy settings, locate GPOs, and extend GPO search through Advanced Group Policy Management. The in-built search facility in Group Policy Management Console (GPMC) only helps to find the existence of a GPO Extension or a group of settings and cannot locate the actual individual setting or a user-specified keyword. Also, locating a particular GPO can be difficult if there are many GPOs.

This is where JiJi GPO Search comes into the picture. The software enables the user to search GPOs by simply typing the setting name or value of their interest as a keyword, across single or multiple domains. Administrators can use various keyword types like GPO Name or GUID, WMI Filter, Security Filter, GPO Links, Individual Setting Name or Value, and Software Installation. Advanced Group Policy Management Search provides more options for searching a keyword, allowing for more than one search criterion to be used.

Classifications like SearchItem, Condition, and Value can be chosen, along with a keyword input matching the setting name. Additionally, Search listed GPOs can be viewed through GPOViewer, which lists only the configured settings of a GPO, making it easier for the user to interpret the data.
